Rutuja is a Director of Engineering at Oracle Analytics Cloud in the SF Bay Area. She leads a team responsible for building augmented analytics applications offering Machine Learning and AI extensions to the Analytics Product. She has 15+ years of experience building scalable, distributed platforms with high-performing, globally distributed teams. She has a master’s in computer science from University of Southern California, a bachelor’s in computer engineering from Pune University in India, and has also earned Machine Learning certification credentials from Cornell University. Rutuja volunteers with Codepath.org to mentor aspiring individuals who want to launch their careers in software development. She has been a member of the Women in Technology Online Festival Advisory Board and has conducted hands-on workshops on Docker and Kubernetes at the Women in Tech World Series Online Festival in 2020.
Fun Fact: The first computer program I ever wrote was in Assembly Language at the age of 15.
