Anu Muralidharan, a first-generation immigrant, arrived in the U.S. burdened with $120,000 in debt. Now, two decades later, she holds the esteemed positions of Chief Operating Officer and board member at Expensify (NASDAQ: EXFY), a leading expense management technology. Throughout her journey, it seemed Anu had it all together, achieving one goal after another. However, she struggled with self-worth, hitting her lowest point upon attaining the Vice President role at a prominent FinTech company she had relentlessly pursued. Gripped by depression, Anu reevaluated her notion of success, which led to a critical turning point in her life and career. While forging a new path, Anu developed three guiding principles to navigate uncertainties.
